Abstract

The problem of angle trisection is part and parcel of a set geometrical constructions problems from the Ancient Greece, which were looking for your solutions just using ruler and compass. In this regard, this works approaches the studies of some mathematicians throughout history and their various contributions in attempts to solve the problem of angle trisection. That way, aims to highlight the importance of the study of geometrical constructions in teaching of geometry in Basic Education.
