The Combinatorial Analysis is inserted among the mathematical contents worked in High School and was constituted as the object of study of the research of this monograph basis. In this paper, we aim to map to reflect on the production of knowledge about Combinatorial Analysis published in the Bulletin of Mathematical Education (BOLEMA) and also for analyzing how this content has been approached in the Connections didactic textbooks collection with Mathematics (LEONARDO, 2013). By the information collected and analyzed, we constructed the explanation on the theme in two chapters and we elaborated four activities for the teaching of Mathematics as proposals to work the studying content in High School, aiming to collaborate with this teaching beyond what of precepts didactic textbooks, as a demanded action of the research results, which configures it as an applied research. Therefore, the applied research methodology is inserted in the area of Mathematics teaching with emphasis on procedures derived from bibliographic and documentary research in applied perspective, therefore, can be understood as a form of applied-action research. In this sense, we intend to contribute to the understanding of how this content is taught and has been treated in the process of teaching and production of knowledge and we suggest teaching activities in order to support the pedagogical work carried out in High School beyond the didactic book.
