Teaching concepts of thermodynamics for high school students, especially those related to the Second Law, it’s no such trivial task, given the rare activities proposed to address these concepts in the classroom. Due to this complexity, this work initially presents an historical evolution of the entropy concept, from Clausius entropy, through Ludwin Boltzmann untill Tsallis entropy. After that, bibliographical research was done with some reference books for high school and higher education in order to show the way they address the concept of entropy. Based on the importance of this subject in Physics teaching, it was carried out a field research, applying questionnaires to teachers from public school and private school. At the end of this work, it is conclude that an important subject for Nature understanding, beyond the Physics limits, should have a more carefull and detailed approach from teachers and textbooks, avoiding simplistic formulation. In conclusion, it is questioned the real need and usefulness of presenting the entropy concept at high school level.
