Educação em tempos de covid-19 : ensino, aprendizagem e práticas pedagógicas na Escola do Campo Jarbas Passarinho – Baía Formosa/RN

This article presents the results of a case study carried out at Escola Municipal Jarbas Passarinho
(EMJP), located in Vila Pituba, rural area of the municipality of Baía Formosa/RN. The research was born from the concerns of professional experiences, produced in front of an educational scenario of difficulties and challenges. During the Covid-19 pandemic, EMJP was challenged to provide quick responses to various aspects in a short period of time and guarantee the education of all children and adolescents. Given this context, the research aimed to investigate the actions and pedagogical practices carried out by the school during the period of emergency remote teaching, hybrid teaching and return to face-to-face teaching, in the perception of the pedagogical coordinators and the teacher-researcher. To this end, the study relied on theoretical references such as Arroyo (2021), Saviani and Galvão (2021), Bezerra and Paludo (2021), Moran (2015), Caldart (2012), Molina and Sá (2012), among others. Methodologically, for the case study, semi-structured interviews were used for the coordinators and a reflection on her own class, by the teacher-researcher (author of this article). In its results, the study revealed impacts of the pandemic in the context of teaching and learning, highlighting relevant elements for analyzes and reflections on the school, aiming at planning and future actions of the investigated school institution. Thus, the research can contribute to awakening the importance of access to education that meets the demands of a group that, until recently, was on the margins of the educational context, since education is still aimed at the urban public and, in the pandemic, this scenario was evident in social and educational inequalities.
