O ensino do conceito de função com uso do excel em uma proposta didática para o ensino médio

The concept of a function is fundamental not only to Mathematics, but to science in general. Thus, in view of issues that involve difficulties in learning this concept, the objective is to study the functions through a bibliographical research in order to build a didactic proposal using Excel as a pedagogical tool. The validation of the use of digital technologies guided by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) (BRASIL, 2018) and its proposals for teaching mathematics and its technologies, as well as the competences and abilities foreseen for High School are problematized in the analyzes that deal with the use of digital technologies as a way of diversifying teaching methodologies. The methodology adopted to achieve the general objective is of a qualitative nature and the research was developed through bibliographical and documentary research, and internet research of the state of knowledge type, in view of the applied perspective. The research highlights the feasibility of teaching functions found in the state of knowledge in six studies that use the following technologies: GeoGebra, Wolfram Alpha, Excel and Winplot. This highlight enabled the elaboration of the proposal considering these previous studies, and it brings Excel as a teaching tool. Finally, it is expected that the teaching of functions using Excel, specifically with polynomial functions 1º and 2º degree, will provide and contribute to the development of teaching in this area of mathematics, expanding the didactic resources used during teaching, and encouraging students to develop a learning process significant, so that in the teaching process they can think and discuss ideas about functions, their concept and definitions.
