O ensino de física no contexto das questões ambientais: uma proposta experimental para a sala de aula

Abstract

We understand population growth in urban areas as one of the main causes of climate change. The unbridled consumption of natural resources and the uncontrolled emission of GHG (greenhouse gases) are analyzed by researchers as one of the future problems that will drastically affect the existence of life on planet Earth. In view of the current situation in relation to climate change, research on the environment in which we are inserted as members of society is necessary in all spheres of knowledge, in order to understand environmental problems and adopt practices and measures that alleviate the situation. The explanation and contextualization of the environmental problems applied in the teaching of Physics, favor the understanding of physical phenomena in an interdisciplinary axis. From this perspective, this work aims to present the relationship between Physics teaching and the environmental theme, presenting a methodological proposal so that the teacher can work in the classroom or in the form of remote teaching, Physics, inserted in the socio-environmental context. Therefore, a didactic material will be proposed that will help the teacher to work with Physics contents with his students through an experimental activity related to climate change. For this work, it will be addressed as a Generating Theme: Greenhouse Effect. Thus, it is through the proposed experiment, that we hope to provide students with the conditions for a better understanding of the environmental issues that are present in our daily lives.
