In this monograph at the end of the undergraduate course in Physics of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte, Campus Santa Cruz, we developed a thematic around the teaching of Natural Sciences in the Education of Young and Adults (EJA). It is problematic to understand how EJA students perceive this teaching, what contents are studied in the subject and what strategies are used by the teachers to teach the classes in Natural Sciences. In the opportunity, we evaluated this teaching through the application of a questionnaire to the students, besides informal conversations with the directors, the teachers and the students of the Municipal School Teacher Elita Barbosa da Fonseca, Tangará - RN. It can be seen that EJA students have a preference for transmissive teaching in which teachers transmit the acquired knowledge in an expositive way only in the classroom. It is also observed that the most used methodology for learning according to the questionnaire applied was the dialogue class as the most accepted teaching strategy by students.
