In the field of exact sciences, the areas of physics and math have an important relationship with the scientific scenario. Physics uses mathematics as a support for description of its phenomena present throughout the universe. This research focuses on the following question: How do higher education physics books use mathematical theorems and techniques to describe the phenomena of physics in the area of mechanical energy conservation? Thus, the present course conclusion paper presents as a bibliographical study, addressing an analysis of the literature, no use of mathematical language as a way of explanation and representation of events in the area of Physics, contribution to a society capable of using these sciences to understand the universe around us. To this end, we analyzed the books of Basic Physics by authors Sears, Moses and Halliday, which allow the mathematical use of math within physics, because math itself is a form of expression of ideas and structuring of thoughts by humans. Which analytical perspective is based on letters and symbols, as can often resemble simple descriptions of objects. From this study, we conclude what presents a relationship between these sciences, has been solidifying over time, using some physical phenomena necessary for a more complex and precise mathematical language, given the abstraction formulated using physical sciences in modern science, making math as a basis of physics.
