Desenvolvimento de um prontuário eletrônico para o hospital maternidade Dr. Ruy Mariz de Jardim do Seridó/RN

Abstract

This study was meant to examine the health unit's goals Maternity Hospital Dr. Ruy Mariz from Jardim do Seridó, as a strategy for a successful development based on a software process. This project aims to help with the daily bureaucratic issues of hospital, such as: generating various reports; controlling patients and health professionals; accessing information and preservation of data. The project development was started with a literature review which aimed to reveal the importance of electronic medical records in the routine of doctors and staff of the health unit. Some of this survey's points and information pointed the absence of some features that could be automated. Among them, the development of electronic medical record system, which was developed based on the results of interviews done with hospital staff and the use of new technologies, such as: PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and PostgreSQL. As result, it is possible to highlight the diagrams made to obtain a good understanding of the system development, a fully functional implemented system and, finally, the satisfaction and learning resulted from this work, which resulted in an extension project.
