Resumo
The professional practice in question was characterized in the form of monitoring, which aimed to help those initiated in the Computer Science course, considering that the subject of Fundamentals of Logic and Algorithm is the basis for young people in the area of programming. The activities carried out served mainly to enrich the curriculum of volunteer tutors, since they carried out activities related to the academic field. This monitoring was carried out in person. The objectives were partially achieved, since it allowed the monitors to develop as professionals, but the absence of beginners in informatics is a present flaw in the development of this activity of professional practice. It is worth emphasizing that such absence was something expected due to the fact that the initiates do not usually look for the monitors, but even so, the practice added to the responsible monitors. Finally, the results obtained were the improvement of academic knowledge, gain of experience with the tools in question and commitment.
