Quality school lunches are important not only in the context of offering a balanced diet, but also as a way to often avoid dropout. Considering that many children and adolescents have an opportunity to eat their meals on a daily basis, as many of them come from poor families and most of the time they are unable to provide food before going to school. The present work had as objective the implantation of new nutritional components in the school lunch. The Rural School Unit II Bom Jesus founded on 17/03/1999 initially in a residence, had the current installation built in 2003 located in the high settlement of happiness I, municipality of Afonso Bezerra / RN, was made in the school Measures area to be planted 8.20 in width by 25 in length, in the space will be planted two rows of fruit with spacing between plants with 5m, on the site will also be installed beds for vegetable production. The proposal of the orchard implantation along with a vegetable garden was exposed. With the objective of introducing new components in school meals, the implementation of this type of methodology in schools arouses the interest of children in learning how food is produced, as well as providing greater socialization among them, as teamwork will be awakened
