Uma proposta de intervenção sobre o conceito de conservação de corrente elétrica

Considering that there is a consensus among constructivist researchers that teaching focused on students' alternative conceptions is fundamental in the learning process. Furthermore, considering that interactive simulations in the form of computer modeling are useful tools to make students protagonists of their learning process, an intervention proposal was made on the conservation of electric current in simple circuits based on the model of conceptual profile, using the free software Physics Education Technology (PHET) to be applied in High School. Therefore, it was necessary to identify in research the main alternative conceptions associated with the conservation of electric current, define the most appropriate simulation software for the proposal among the simulations available on the PHET website, elaborate a script for using the software with problem situations and a specific lesson plan for the intervention activity. A propositional, descriptive and bibliographic research is then carried out. In view of this, it was found that the elaboration of an intervention proposal like the one shown in this work is possible as long as the simulator to be used is chosen with good criteria and provided that a script and a lesson plan are elaborated with previously established objectives.
