O comércio exterior e a sustentabilidade ambiental: os impactos advindos da água de lastro no transporte marítimo internacional

Resumo
This exploratory-descriptive, completion of course work supported by secondary bibliographic sources, aims to evaluate the impact of ballast water (water from the seas, launched and received by vessels in the waterway model) in the dynamics of foreign trade. Several authors, organizations, documents and regulations have supported this research, including: Bourdieu and Wacquant (2002); Hayeck (1987), Giddens (2000); Herz; Hoffmann, (2004); Keohane (2005); Bruno (2017); Brunkhorst (2011); Galito, (2011); Thorthensen (1998); Appleyard et. al (2010); Mendonça (2013); Seitenfus (2004); Zambobi et al, (2015); Obregón and Fabriz (2015); Serafin and Henkes (2013); Carmo (2006); Onu (2017); Globallast (2016); IMO (2017); Camacho (2007); Mead (1995); Dye (1984); Frey (2000); Souza (2006); A lot of aspects are addressed, such as the dynamics of international trade: from the global scenario to the present day , the World Trade Organization in the current conjuncture, the foreign trade and the mitigating actions of the phenomena impacting the marine ecosystem (sea’s natural enviroment where are international ships).Of the several possible conclusions stand out the indispensable correlations between the international trade and the socio-economic-environmental sustainability. Because this, the nation’s relationships of commerce are linked with sea’s environment preservation. In this way, it will be concluded that environmental preservation and economic integration by means of waterway modalities will depend on supranational regulations, subject to the inherent regulations, also each nation-state. For this integration, several organizations, such as the International Maritime Organization Among the various findings, it is finally concluded that there must be transversality in the relations of international trade, the maintenance of biota and ecosystems. This is because in development actions, no harmful environmental impact will be.
