Abstract

This report presents the activities carried out in the Computer Organization and Maintenance laboratory (OMC), under the coordination of Professor Evantuy de Oliveira. The activities consisted of assisting the teacher in organizing practical classes, organizing the laboratory and the equipment used during and after classes, as well as guiding students, answering questions and supervising them in practical activities, with the aim of acquiring and sharing professional experience. Defect investigation and maintenance was also carried out on donated computers and notebooks in order to recover as many desktops as possible, cataloging their functional and nonfunctional parts. Another activity carried out was to raise awareness among students attending the laboratory about the environmentally friendly disposal of equipment and electrical and electronic components, informing them of the proper way to dismantle and dispose of the equipment.
