Proposta de aplicação web para otimização do processo de recrutamento da Coordenação de Extensão (COEX) do IFRN - Campus Nova Cruz

Abstract

This study aims to present a web application solution to optimize the recruitment process managed by the Coordenação de Extensão (COEX) at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) - Campus Nova Cruz. COEX’s recruitment process faces significant challenges. Applications are submitted via email following job postings on Instagram, requiring manual steps such as verifying applicants’ eligibility and individually downloading résumés. Furthermore, issues such as receiving applications from non-IFRN-affiliated individuals, unsuitable applications, and operational errors complicate the process. For students, repetitive résumé submissions and the need to convert documents to PDF format add to the inefficiencies. The proposed solution will enable centralized job postings, restrict applications to IFRN students enrolled in relevant courses, and facilitate résumé grouping and automated downloads. For students, it will offer features such as résumé management, simplified applications, and the ability to download their own résumé in PDF format.
