The region called Vale do Açu, in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte is considered one of the most fertile and abundant regions when it comes to water availability. This factor is conducive to success in planting and growing plants and cereals. Thus, the present work aims to evaluate the behavior of three Guandu bean cultivars, based on the edaphoclimatic conditions found in the municipality of Ipanguaçu-RN. Thus, based on the proposed theme, experimental methods for descriptive analysis of the results were determined as a methodological procedure for carrying out the research. Thus, it was possible to verify that for the planting and cultivation of the Guandu bean species, more precisely Fava Larga, the black seed and the Guandu Dwarf, the region meets the minimum requirements to obtain the expected results. That is, the climatic conditions, the soil and the abundance of water make the cultivation of these species conducive, given that it has been proven that these species support the conditions imposed by the region.
