Reabilitação de área dominada por algaroba: avaliação da unidade técnica demonstrativa manejo da Caatinga do IFRN - Campus Ipanguaçu

Abstract

The present course conclusion work aimed to evaluate the progress of the UTD Caatinga Management in order to analyze the improvement of ecological diversity in a specific area, with the purpose of confirming whether the methods used are efficient. The research methodology consisted of a Quanti-Qualitative nature research, through an exploratory and survey study, in which the results were interpreted descriptively. It was possible to conclude that the region for which UTD Caatinga Management is responsible, presents itself as a validated practice, since it is through sustainable practices that it enables farmers in general to have greater forest diversity without the imminent passivity of desertification, which may allow reforestation of the area, enabling food production and correlated with food security, generating income. Therefore, the work met the proposed objective and it can serve as a basis for future academic productions.
