Relatório de Pratica Profissional Efetiva : o processo de planejamento e gestão do evento Rotas

Abstract

This report refers to the TAL Scholarship and Learning Program at Bolsa TAL, granted by means of a selection process from Notice no. 17 / 2019- DG / CANG. Through this it was possible to plan and execute the Routes event, whose main objective was to bring to the public, tourist attractions, curiosities and cultural attractions of four cities on the southern coast of the state of Rio Grande do Norte. For this reason it was necessary to acquire theoretical knowledge about planning and organizing events and the relationship between events and tourist activity. Subsequently, by adopting methodological techniques it was possible to develop through meetings with the Tourism Management class 2019.1 the planning and organization of the event, the meetings took place at the IFRN Canguaretama campus, between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm and in rooms 142 and 143, in the period from September to December 2019. Thus, objectives were created in search of better results, and for this the group was divided into six commissions, namely: General Services, Planning / Organization, Marketing, Finance, Reception and Food and Beverage. The event took place on November 19, had an audience of 200 participants and reached the proposed objectives, thus resulting in the good execution of the program that included presentations of tourist attractions, curiosities and cultural events in the cities of Goianinha, Canguaretama, Pedro Velho and Baia Formosa. It was concluded that the Routes event allowed the scholarship holder and the other students involved to experience, in practice, questions about planning, organizing, executing and evaluating an event.
