This work aimed to evaluate the action plan in the pandemic context of two public schools in
Rio Grande do Norte state, discussing which form the strategies that the school community
raised to maximize the teaching-learning process in EJA. Both action plans are very clear about
the importance of a dynamic plan, constantly revised to serve the entire school community, both
with regard to the work of teachers, as facilitating the teaching-learning process, as well as
helping families with activities that will be developed at home. Strategies, methodologies,
teaching tools and prospects were presented in both plans to mitigate the impacts of social
isolation, however, no activity, topic or questioning in particular is raised in the documents as
an active measure to work with EJA students, even these being one of the most dynamic groups
in the school community. Thus, it is observed that although the school community is working
effectively to minimize the impacts of the pandemic on the educational system, it is necessary
to review more effectively all sectors of education, especially those that already have a high
dropout history (such as EJA) to ensure that, in fact, the entire school community can best tackle
the problems caused by the pandemic.
