Análise percepção dos residentes sobre o desenvolvimento turístico de canguaretama

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the perceptions of residents of the local community of Canguaretama / RN about tourism development, interaction between residents and tourists and emotions felt during an interaction. One research describes as descriptive, quantitative nature, in addition to the type of cross-sectional research. The choice of the subject was made by the simple random method, in addition, it is used for the sample or convenience method. A data collection made through forms, with statements on an 11-point metric scale, where 0 indicates total disagreement and 10 total agreement. Data were collected from 10/02/2018 to 4/30/2018, obtaining a total of 126 valid questionnaires. Data collected through forms were entered without Statistical Package for Social Science software (SPSS 22.0). Through which an analysis of the data using descriptive statistics took place. Among the results of descriptive statistics, we observed residents who had perceptions of negative effects and low feelings that cause harmful effects, moderate after community, perceived personal benefits, low interaction with visitors, as well as neutral emotions during an interaction and support for tourism development.
