Abstract

Currently, we are facing difficulties in maintaining and prolonging the records that allow us a vision of the past, of the peoples who lived here and especially of their way of life, which today is so different from ours. Understanding that before and after the abolition of slavery in Brazil, the Brazilian territory was marked by the presence of indigenous communities that today resist to maintain their identity, their culture and their way of life through their memories. Considering the importance of rescuing and recording its culture, this project proposes the creation of a digital platform for the registration and dissemination of the indigenous / quilombola memorial collection of angicos / RN for NEABI (Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies), Thus, it will be possible to catalog the memories of the communities, enabling the identity aspects of these groups to be maintained, disseminated and extended by future generations, considering that in the past having access to information was the privilege of the few, however, we want to make them These memories are within the reach of our generation and the generations to come, as they are often illiterate communities, but a strong oral tradition.
