Formação profissional do soldado bombeiro militar do Rio Grande do Norte

Abstract

The present work has the objective of evaluating the impact of the technical training and professional training of graduates of the Rio Grande do Norte military firefighter training in the classes of the Training Course of Soldiers of 2007, 2009 and 2012. To reach this purpose was used the theoretical model proposed by Lima (2016) covers three variables: Impact of Training in Work, Behavior and Organizational Citizenship and Professional Development. This is an exploratory research with a descriptive approach and adopted the case study procedure, using the questionnaire application to the graduates of the Soldiers Training Courses using as a technique of analysis the descriptive statistics to obtain primary data for perceptions of the impact of the training. These data revealed that the egresses regarding the Impact of training in the Work perform satisfactorily their tasks; with respect to Organizational Behavior and Citizenship, have shown that they are divided, but are willing to help a colleague when he or she has such a need, and Professional Development also has a satisfactory result. As a conclusion the research revealed that the Courses prepare satisfactorily the graduates for the performance of the institutional functions, but they need to give a better attention to the disciplines of an operational nature, which are directed directly to the purpose of the institution and to abandon old traditions military, such as cleaning, organization of cabinets and bedding and individual presentation, which is part of the discipline of Regulations and Continencies, which is more focused on the aspect of militarism.
