In this study, the objective was to analyze the interorganizational relationships present in the environment of the Incubadora Tecnológica Natal Central (ITNC), located at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte – IFRN Campus Natal Central. To that end, we sought to verify and describe the motivational factors, as pointed out by Oliver (1990), which encourage the embryonic organizational in the technology-based market to create and maintain, in the perspectives of incubated and already graduated managers and the manager of the Incubator. A cooperation network with ITNC. To achieve this aim, a qualitative and quantitative research was developed through two research instruments, a semistructured script for qualitative research, with the Incubator Manager, and a structured questionnaire for quantitative research, with the intention of being Managers. In the analysis of the information and data collected, it was observed the existence of a cooperation network with the Incubator and among the incubated ones, established with the purpose of filling the deficiency by several limited resources in the market and that are important for the survival of these new Business, such as improving the managerial quality of the business, legitimating itself before the market, having more power or influence in the market, improving its production, obtaining synergy and cooperation with other incubated companies, to reach potential markets, as well as others . It is concluded that the reliability of the ITCN and IFRN brands, the facilities that reduce the costs of the sheltered organizations, the consultancies offered, which improve business and reduce market uncertainties and risks, among other factors, are the aspects that promote a cooperation network in the ITNC environment. However, the fact that the factors Necessity and Legitimacy stand out, from the point of view of the managers interviewed, are the most relevant to establish cooperation ties.
