Abstract

This article has the purpose to support the claim that the policy of gender equality has become synonymous with women's rights, rather than a policy of promoting human isonomic treatment. It is argued that the idea of such embezzlement give up the misunderstanding of normative limits of the principle of equality, which has its own definition is a Herculean task. From the thesis of Professor Humberto Avila on equality, where it presents sculpts the structuring elements of the principle above, will try to paint a picture where treatment is justified normative, not based on a feminist discourse, but a rationality that promotes the dignity of the human person.
