ANÁLISE DAS ATIVIDADES DE TESTE DE SOFTWARE QUANTO A SUA APLICABILIDADE E IMPORTÂNCIA EM EMPRESAS PRIVADAS

Abstract

Testing activities are fundamental in the software development process, they seek to guarantee the quality of the final product, with software quality being a predominant aspect in the development market. Thus, the present work aims to analyze software testing activities, regarding their applicability and importance in private companies. This is a descriptive research using a quantitative method, carried out with the participation of five software development companies in Rio Grande Norte, specifically in the cities of Caicó, Natal and Nova Cruz. Data collection took place through an adapted questionnaire with a total of twenty-two questions. From the analysis of the collected data, it was found that although the companies involved carry out the software tests, they do not carry out the activities aimed at documenting the process, surveying risks and preserving the tests performed, which can compromise the quality of the software.
