This report aimed to describe the actions carried out in the extension project “IV Technical Exhibition of the IFRN (Campus Canguaretama)”, developed by the 2017.1 event group, guided by Andrea do Nascimento Barbosa Cacho, Eberton da Silva Marinho, Monick Munay Dantas da Silveira Pinto and Vanessa Stephanie de Azevedo Arruda. Participation in the aforementioned extension project was accounted for as professional practice, a necessary requirement for the completion of the Integrated Technical Course Medium Level in Events at IFRN - Campus Canguaretama. It is also worth mentioning that, within this report, a greater focus was given to the marketing and communication and infrastructure and logistics committees, as the reporting students are part of such committees. To meet the project's goals, it was necessary to develop activities that involved both the group of 2017.1 events that were in the organization, as well as the internal and external public that attended the event. The project was executed based on nine goals, namely: organizing commissions for the execution of the event; plan and execute targets from action plans; raise internal and external resources (sponsorship); coordinating commissions and promoting team engagement; plan actions to publicize the event; organize the infrastructure necessary for the event to be held; plan the reception of the internal and external public; evaluate the event and start planning the V Technical Exhibition. It is concluded that all project activities were performed efficiently and effectively so that the IV Technical Exhibition of the IFRN-Campus Canguaretama was successful. Thus, the objective was achieved, since this experience enabled the academic, professional and personal improvement of the members involved.
