O papel da imagem do lugar e dos impactos percebidos e suas influências no apoio dos residentes ao desenvolvimento do turismo: um estudo em Genipabu

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the correlations between the perceived impacts of tourism, the place image and the resident support for tourism development in Genipabu. Was realized an exploratory and descriptive research using a quantitative analytical approach. The probabilistic approach was simples and random. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with 37 closed items, applied from January to March 2016, with a total of 308 people. By analyzing the data, it is understood that there is a direct relationship between economic impacts and resident support residents for tourism development and it was found that residents support the development of tourism, believing that the benefits outweigh the costs arising from the tourism. In addition, there was a strong sense of belonging to the place and attachment to the community.
