ResFar: um sistema de automação agrícola baseado em IoT

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the ancient techniques developed by man and with the evolution of humanity, several irrigation technologies were developed to improve their production, however, these technologies are inefficient and generate a great waste of water. Thus, new technologies are emerging to meet this need and one of them is the Internet of Things (IoT), which is the area that consists in applying controlled automation systems by the Internet, but still have a high price for their use. In this perspective, the present work proposes the elaboration of an irrigation system using IoT technology to perform the automation of small and mediumsized crops in order to make more accessible technological systems capable of reducing and controlling water use in agricultural productions.
