<title>Sistema para administração da carga horaria dos discentes do NADIC</title>
<link>http://memoria.ifrn.edu.br/handle/1044/2948</link>
<description>Sistema para administração da carga horaria dos discentes do NADIC
A Efficient management of time and academic activities in the university environment&#13;
remains a continuous challenge. Within the context of the NADIC (Center for Data&#13;
Analysis and Computational Intelligence), managing students’ workload is essential to&#13;
ensure that they fulfill their academic responsibilities in a balanced and effective&#13;
manner. Given the increasing demand for technological solutions, the development of&#13;
a dedicated system to manage student workload has become a necessity. This&#13;
undergraduate thesis presents the design, development, and implementation of a&#13;
system aimed at supporting NADIC’s administration by improving individual&#13;
organization and providing an effective tool for monitoring and assisting students’&#13;
academic progress.

<title>Ambiente Digital de coleta e administração de assinaturas coletivas</title>

<description>Ambiente Digital de coleta e administração de assinaturas coletivas
This project presents the development of a digital platform designed for managing&#13;
collective signatures, focusing on environments that require multiple signatures, such&#13;
as meetings, collaborative processes, and formal meeting minutes. The system was&#13;
designed to centralize signature collection and management in a single digital&#13;
environment, providing a practical and efficient solution. The platform facilitates&#13;
signature gathering and data management, allowing the consolidated issuance of&#13;
signed documents securely and accessibly through a single download. This approach&#13;
aims to improve the user experience in corporate and academic activities, reducing the&#13;
time and effort required to complete signing processes while ensuring greater control&#13;
and security over generated documents

<description>Foguete: revisão histórica e impactos na sociedade
This work presents a historical review about the evolution of rockets, from the primitive rockets used by the Chinese in the beginning of the thirteenth century to the modern rockets built in the last decade, showing the main changes in rocket engineering and showing how we can fit the study of Basic physics from rocket launch. Therefore, the objective of this project is to describe the evolution of rockets and discuss the impacts, positive and negative, that space vehicles have provided for society, that is, how the economic, technological, social and environmental aspects were and are being influenced by the use of the rockets. Furthermore, we seek to deliver a poster that can be used as a didactic tool by basic education teachers to deal with this content. As it is a work that aims to describe the facts and discuss them, this is configured as a bibliographic and exploratory research, analyzing the data mainly in a qualitative way. Thus, we seek the content mainly in books and articles, in the online form through the Google Scholar search engine. In the results, it was observed that individual works were important for the evolution of aerospace vehicles, but after government investments and the desire to demonstrate sovereignty were fundamental factors for the leverage of rockets. Finally, we note that governments have reduced investments in space aviation and private companies are perhaps starting a new space race, seeking to provide society with experiences never seen before by civilians.

<title>Escalonamento de tarefas em grid no cenário de TV digital interativa</title>

<description>Escalonamento de tarefas em grid no cenário de TV digital interativa
The popularization of mobile devices and advances in the development wireless technologies and Grid Computing, has motivate the use of these devices for distributed computing. Grids appear as a low cost solution to provide computing power. However, the task scheduling in grid presents challenges related to the dynamic and heterogeneous characteristics of the application scenarios of Grid computing paradigm. Infrastructure grid with mobile devices interoperation such as resource providers, scheduling is more difficult, due to the wireless communication and consumption of energy stored in batteries of these devices. This document presents the task scheduling algorithm for service-oriented grid, with interoperation of mobile devices such as resource providers, in home area networks in the context of digital TV. The algorithm, called PUTS (Power-aware User-preference Task-size based Scheduling), performs balancing of the energy levels of the batteries of mobile devices, in order to keep them longer in the grid, and allows the user-preference settings that influence assignment of tasks, which depending on the number of devices on the grid, reduces the number of tasks on the device. Two case studies were conducted and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm and performance impact due to the configuration of user preferences.
