<summary type="text">A educação ambiental em uma escola do Rio Grande do Norte em tempos de pandemia
Environmental transformations resulting from the exploitation of nature by society have been the subject of discussions and the elaboration of studies on the development and implementation of Environmental Education, as a measure for a sustainable relationship between society and nature. For this reason, the present work aimed to understand how Environmental Education is worked in Biology classes at Escola Severina Pontes de Medeiros, located in Japi – RN; as well as pointing out the need to develop awareness and personal training activities to meet the objectives of environmental education; and finally evaluate the importance of EA studies in basic education. This work consisted of quantitative research, including bibliographical research, and the quantitative survey was carried out through the application of questionnaires among teachers and students at that institution. The main results were analyzed in light of the proposed theoretical framework, and the data obtained were tabulated in the ©Microsoft Excel version 2019 program, to prepare the graphs that supported the quantitative analysis of this research. The results demonstrated a low prevalence in carrying out projects and activities focused on EA, although the same results express that both teachers and students participating in the research point to the practice of EA as an important activity. In this way, the need for more frequent implementation of projects and activities focused on EA was highlighted, as a way of promoting awareness of environmental issues as well as suggesting the construction of a committed relationship with environmental sustainability.

<summary type="text">Explorando o potencial do biochar na produção de mudas para recuperação de áreas degradadas e seu impacto no sequestro de carbono: uma revisão de literatura
This literature review aimed to analyze published works on the technique of producing seedlings with biochar and its relation to carbon sequestration. The concepts of biochar, its benefits for soil and plants, as well as its relationship with carbon sequestration were addressed. The research was conducted on electronic databases, including the Capes and SciElo platforms, using the terms "biochar", "produção de mudas", and "sequestro de carbono" in Portuguese and "biochar", "seedling production", and "carbon sequestration" in English.Five studies that addressed the use of biochar in seedling production for the restoration of degraded areas and its impact on carbon sequestration were selected. The analysis of the studies showed that the use of biochar can be a promising strategy to increase carbon sequestration in planted forests.

<summary type="text">As ondas eletromagnéticas e o impacto na saúde humana: uma análise do julgamento do Supremo Tribunal Federal sobre recurso extraordinário interposto por companhia de eletricidade do Estado de São Paulo
The proliferation of various electronics and communication media has made&#13;
electromagnetic fields ubiquitous in human lives. However, any excess human activity involves&#13;
risks of environmental impacts and damages to health. Based on bibliographical and&#13;
jurisprudential research, this article deals with the influences of electromagnetic pollution on&#13;
human health and analyzes a case judged in the Federal Supreme Court. Concludes that&#13;
although there are still doubts about the negative impacts by electromagnetic pollution on&#13;
human health, it must be respect the precautionary principle in constitutional law enshrined in&#13;
the Brazilian regulatory standards and the recommendations proposed by World Health&#13;
Organization.

<summary type="text">Uso dos recursos midiáticos digitais na educação ambiental: uma proposta
Technological innovation is challenging for education. Media resources have been inserted into teaching to improve and develop new skills. However, modern technologies require adaptation and training of students and faculty. Classrooms are increasingly equipped to make teaching more flexible and extend knowledge beyond the school environment. The integration between classroom and virtual resources is fundamental to the teaching-learning process, in which information and communication technologies (ICTs) function as available tools for the development of different teaching modalities. In this context, we will start a reflection on the use of ICTs in environmental education (EE), elucidating the importance of inserting digital media resources in the teaching-learning processes, also emphasizing the benefits of hybrid education. The methodology used is descriptive, being the literature review procedure. Finally, we conclude that EE, through the use of ICTs, can discover new potentials and arouse critical thinking in students, as well as integrate them as active participants in the learning process.
