Identificação de impactos ambientais na paisagem costeira: o caso da Praia de Pipa, Tibau do Sul/RN

Abstract

This monographic research aimed to identify the environmental impacts triggered by anthropogenic actions that are acting on the coastal landscape of the beaches of the district of Pipa/RN, located in the municipality of Tibau do Sul/RN. The methodological aspects used in this monograph were the inductive method, exploratory and descriptive research, and semi-structured interview. The study was divided into four stages: literary survey, in loco research, interpretation and synthesis of the data obtained. The results indicate that the coast of the municipality of Tibau do Sul presents several types of geomorphological features that constitute attractions of great scenic beauty, in particular, the sea cliffs. Thus, based on the appreciation of these spaces, human pressure on the physical environment has been producing different types of impacts, in particular, coastal erosion, on the beaches of Pipa/RN, which has been accelerated due to urbanization processes and excessive occupation. of coastal space. Thus, from the field analysis, and the death results through the applied interview, it was possible to verify that the erosion processes in the different geomorphological compartments and that there is a lot of difficulty in the application of the environmental laws that regulate the forms of use and define the parameters of buildings.
