Resumo
Contamination by heavy metals in recent years has caused damage to the environment and many of these irreversible damages to the health of rivers and human beings, causing diseases that worsen until the individual dies. To have an idea of how serious the matter is, every year 130 tons of Mercury are dumped into the rivers of the Amazon each year, causing all the contamination of the food chain, damaging our water tables. With the concern about the effects caused by heavy mental disorders, some conventional forms of treatment emerged, but they were not very effective, when a lot of energy was spent and there was not a satisfactory result in the treatments. It was when the organic adsorbents with fruit peels appeared, one of them has been gaining prominence, which is the banana because it is widely commercialized in Brazil and many times thrown in the open by carriers because they do not arrive at their destination because they are too ripe, and with that another accumulation in the environment, thus gathering rats and cockroaches. The banana peel flour powder as an organic adsorbent does this removal because it contains in its composition a positive charge and the negatively charged metals, with that they end up attracting each other, leaving the heavy metals at the bottom of the analyzed treatment container, not mixing again with the water. . Through this sorption process, a method of retaining a fluid phase compound on the surface of a solid, which can be applied in wastewater treatment plants, in industrial effluents, or even in any other system that contains contaminated water. To avoid heavy metals in small towns, it is good to avoid artisanal wells in communities after most of them are not maintained and end up theorizing on the sides giving spaces for the emergence of these metals of densities.
