Análise do potencial para desenvolvimento do turismo religioso na terra dos mártires do cunhaú (Canguaretama/RN) sob a percepção dos stakeholders locais
Resumo
The society of the 21st century presents significant growth in the economy and various sectors
are gaining visibility in the contemporary world, to quote the tourism which presents itself as
a source of destiny development both within cultural, economic, social and environmental.
For this purpose, to establish a balance of preserving a site, which from its tourist
development is the exercise activities before not developed or smaller proportion, it becomes
difficult to find the control. In this way, with the intention that leverage the tourist potential of
the religious segment in the land of the Holy Martyrs of Cunhaú, it is important that the local
stakeholders have acting together for their development in the exploitation of the attractions
not yet perceived. The study aims to analyze the potential for the development of religious
tourism in canguaretama/RN under the perception of local stakeholders. For this, we used an
exploratory-descriptive approach, using the qualitative method for analysis. To achieve the
objectives of the study, was used for sampling non-probabilistic by convenience, which was
chosen people according to the parameters established by the investigator. While the
instruments of data collection and analysis of data, we used a script of semi-structured
interviews, and an analysis of content. From the results, it was observed that the potential of
the municipality is perceived by the actors involved, recognize the benefits and importance of
tourist activity as economic growth and how the collaboration of all involved places becomes
significant for the development and promotion of the site. But, consider that there is still much
to develop the potential that the municipality possesses, it is necessary to carry out an
integrated planning and participatory to boost tourism in this segment and does not turn into a
disorderly activity.
