Resumo
While technological advances have been increasingly strong in the last decades, electronics are inextricably linked to this, being adapted and resized in order to optimize the spaces, weight and power consumption of circuits to the maximum. Especially in this context of maximum utilization of space, an adjacency that has been developed quite a lot in recent years is flexible electronics, a technology that has added to electronics, the possibility of developing PCBs (Flexible Printed Circuit Boards) on flexible surfaces such as polyamide, or several others. However, there is very little in the development of this area when it comes to teaching material, mainly on methods of manufacturing the flexible circuits themselves, which ends up inhibiting the expansion of academic works in the area of flexible electronics, whose application has been expanded for medical, commercial and aerospace purposes. As a solution to this problem, after several researches, this project proposes the development of a method of manufacturing flexible PCBs based on the already known technique of production of rigid PCBs with Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Using the developed procedures, three circuits with different applications will be designed and built; and also described in detail, thus ensuring its reproducibility
