Avaliação da percepção ambiental de moradores do município do Bodó-RN sobre os impactos ambientais gerados com a instalação do Parque Eólico Calango 6

Abstract

The objective of this article was to evaluate the environmental perception of the residents of the Paraíso Site in the municipality of Bodó / RN on the environmental impacts generated after the installation of the Calango 6 Wind Farm. The methodology used involved a wide bibliographic review related to the theme, visits and interviews in loco, seeking to collect data on the environmental perception about the environmental impacts after the installation of the Calango Wind Farm 6. According to the research it was possible to observe and diagnose the dissatisfaction of the interviewees with the installation of the project in the community, (noise pollution) has been cited as the most damaging impact to resident households. This study allowed us to conclude that environmental perception is indeed a useful tool, capable of contributing significantly to the diagnosis of the impacts of the Paraiso Site under consideration and of supporting proposals for mitigating actions related to them, minimizing sound pollution (noise) through the installation of containment strips with planting of tree legumes that besides serving as a barrier to noise emission, may also provide animal feed; roofing of homes with plaster, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or precast slabs and implementation of a sound pollution monitoring program.
