Abstract

This work has the purpose of describing the activities developed during the professional practice, linking them to the theoretical contents covered by the Associate Degree in Marketing in order to create a situational diagnosis followed by an improvement proposal. This non-mandatory internship occurred from the August 8th, 2019 to the May 5th, 2021 with activities focusing in the World of Work (internship or young appretince program), and took place in the Extension Activities Coordination (COEX) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) campus Natal Zona Norte. The developed duties include selecting students for professional practice, sending pendency notifications, answering questions online and remote activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As for the improvement proposal, 7 details of the activities developed were chosen to be submitted to the 5W2H tool. It is concluded that, by combining theory with practice, the supervised internship allows the accomplishment of tasks related to the associate degree, acting in educational and social ways when collaborating with the development of behavioral skills
